im thinkin the DV is shot. thats the cheapest fix too so i would check that first

ok well if you guys are saying it's the DV then I have a dilemma...

The car is currently under warrenty, and I'm scheduled to take it in tomorrow to have it looked at and repaired. If it is in fact the DV, the dealership will just replace it with another OEM DV. I was planning on upgrading my DV soon anyway, so should I:

a) Cancel my appt, buy a forge 007 DV and install it myself, hoping to jesus that the problem was the DV to begin with
b) take it into the dealership and have it worked on for free under warrenty

go with option b. it might not be the dv. but if it is than get yourself a forge 007 and return the dv (they might even give you 35 bucks for it if you say you bought it lol)

 

Lol sounds pretty funny. Sad but funny, and just for the record, im going to say its something other then the dv, not that i know.

 

ya when it does it the second time and rev's higher and makes the noise makes it seem like it could be something else
