K&N filter
yeah one of the heat shields is freaken tough to get at cause its a philips screw and its a tight space next to the freaken catalytic converter so when i went to put it back on i didnt tighten the screw all the way just in case the next time i had to take it off its easier.
DO NOT USE A K&N FILTER
They have a ton of oil on them from the factory to help filter the air. On most cars there's some distance between the filter and everything else. On our MAF sensors are built into the airbox. The excess oil builds up on the MAF sensor and causes bad readings.
If you're dead set on using one, wipe it off with a clean rag or some othe super absorbant cloth and let it dry out.
