Default K&N Vs. Ebay brand (cool air intake)

I have an a4 2.8and i was wanting to know if their was anydifference between these two? Other then one's cheaper then the other.. thanks.

they both suck without a proper heat shield. just do the swiss cheese mod

go with what ever one you can afford. they will noth do the same thing and the swiss cheese mod only works on the 1.8s. So i would would buy the cheap ebay one and then when it come time to clean the filter just scrap it and buy the K&N cone filter

You can also buy the ebay kits that come with the k&n filter fora few bucks more.

I personally like to spend the extra money on a reliable brand name simply for piece of mind. I'm running the k&n 57i kit in mine.

i would get a ebay that has an k&n filter with it since i have had some experance with the ebay one that come with a off brand filter falling apart (not on my audi) an intake pipe is an intake pipe as long as it fits
