So im getting a new 1.8 (rip 12v) and my goal for the car is nothing more than a solid 14.5, I wanna keep it reliable, I gotta go to school with it, and I'm gonna get most of my kicks from the suspension and not so much the straight lines, I just want a little pep in between corners, haha! So whats need to run a solid 14.5 in a B5 1.8, can the k03 reliably run these times? Or would a k04 be needed?

give me 2 weeks and i wll let u know what mine does, i have a 2000 1.8T with apr 91. borla catback,710n dv. i was after reliability with a lil bit of go and i am curious myself what my car will run. i will post of when i do it. i hear ppl saying low 15s. high 14s high 15s. i just wanna c myself what my car can do. will let u know after i do a run.

come on guys nobody knows how much this turbo can support??? is it similar to a t-25 turbo??? someone has to know this...

 

OMG dude i thought you had learned not to ask stupid questions !!!!!!!! Yes it can boost that much EASILY GIAC chips put it at 17-18 spiking 21 on my car with a n75race valve our motors are built very well not like the 12v they can hold 25 psi constantly everyday no problems at all so your 14.765 will be just fine as long as you chip it and not just add boost like you do with your DSM Spend 500 and get a GIAC chip well worth the money

 

oh and a t-25 is way bigger than the k03, our k03 is like fist size, its friggin tiny and a k04 with the p16 file is the **** but you dont need a k04 to run the amount of boost that your lookin for

 

smaller than a t-25, lol... that really sucks, a t-25 can only support like 250whp, im looking more along the lines of 235awhp... so a k03 will do the job??

BADLUCKAUDI: did u ever run your car? cuz your mods are pretty much identical to what i plan on doing, accept im gonna throw on a downpipe as well... how does your car pull?? what could you compare it to that youve driven before, if anything? like...wrx speed? 350z speed? or more like a stock GST speed???

 

I could run low 14's all day long with my set up.... its quick and pulls hard, its faster than a wrx that stock and one with an exhaust but not as fast as an STI but it will hang with an Sti on long streches, its faster than my cousins 944 turbo and our 4000cs with a 20v 5cyl in it....... hope that gives you an Idea and i did realize you ment 14.5 seconds like a little bit after I posted but i figured oh well who cares lol Oh and Id imagine my car was putting out 220ish awhp
