i have the awm motor, with the k03, but is it a regular one or the s model?
if it is the s, i have been told i shouldn't go k04, cause it is almost worthless, but i really don't wanna go bt, maybe elim, but not bt

not sure what year you have - only the 2001 with 170hp stock has the k03s turbo. and yes a chipped k03s can put out like 210 vs a chipped k04 at 220-230

yes, you have a K03 sport turbo, same as is in the 180 hp golf/jetta.

So whats the difference between the K03 and K03s? Is the extra 10 or so hp really worth an extra $800-900? How much would a K03s be or can you convert a K03 to a K03s? Just wondering.

i thought ive heard of people having different files like X and monster etc. for their chip? also, my chip wa sinstalled something like 2 years ago... should i go to my dealer and get updates or anything?
