hey bishop how long did it take for the gpop shop to rebuild your k03? do they rebuild your specific turbo or do they ask you to send in a k03 and in return they will send you a k03 rebuilt to k04 specs? cuz the latter would be a faster turnaround for them

 

want a faster car, dump the 19's and loss some weight from the car. That would gain more than swapping in a ko4-15

 

I didn't have any down time cause it's my only car, so I just bought a k04 from them. I was going to send my old one to them and they would have given me some money for it depending on it's condition, but it was trashed and had many housing cracks, so I just chucked it. I would imagine it would only take them about a week from when you ship it to them till you get it back. Just call and talk to Gerry, he'll tell you how long it will take.

a4's have plenty of potential, but not with 19's and elim turbos. But your right, they will never be an Evo or Sti which what thats what those cars are made for.

 

I would not spend $900 on a turbo with such a minor upgrade.

 

Ilooks like I am goingto order the gtrs kit, but more searching is in order.

 

Do it. K04's are just a fad [8D]

 

If you get a k04 you'll just want bigger. Trust me.
