So the guys at APR now tell me that the k04 software for the b5 wont be out for a while if ever becasue their backed up from the 2.0T.

is GIAC the only company with k04 tuneing? i know now that neither revo nor APR have it...

 

dude I think GIAC is better anyways with a k04. AND GIAC came out with a updated version for the K04 file this year with higher numbers and more tweaks to make it fit the applications better. I just sold my old k04 software and am plannin on getin one in a couple days myself

i jsut talked to the guys at 2bennett audimotive and they dotn recommend it. giac sent themkits trying to win them over and they just didnt like how it ran. they say the b5 a4 computer just doesnt agree with some parts and its a pain to work with. fudge maby i should just get an s4

 

are you talkin about this "ugdated" software they just did this year for the K04 wasnt agreein with the ecu? What parts are you talkin about that it didnt work good with? I had the old k04 software before from GIAC and it worked great.

Go REVO. Get a K04 then have a shop install a REVO big turbo file and drive tune your car. Its the best thing you can do. Don't go GIAC been there, done that.

Agreed, i dislike my giac tuning alot! Its really unsmooth throught the rev range. And id also get a different turbo, just because you will want more power in the end of it all. But thats just my experience for the last half a year.

 

anyone running with the revo software? comments on it or links with info on it would be great
