Got my car back on Tues, running strong!! For anyone thats thinking about a K04.....do it. Its like a completely different car. Havent had the chance to really tear into it, but to feel the car continue to pull STRONG well past 4200k is amazing.

 

sick. what kind of programming are you running? and how much is it boosting at? i love my k04

 

Havent installed by boost gauge yet, need to find a spare center air vent. Dont want to spend $250 for something I can do myself.
Just have the performance program for now. Going back in a few weeks for get add ons and the handheld program changer.

 

nice. you should get the j31 file from giac. that would be SICK. im running the same software as you right now, and im upgrading to pc-16 a little after christmas

 

Think im going run this setup for a little while, see how it works on the track. Gotta wait for the warm weather though!! Do you have a fmic?
Why back to stock exhaust?

 

nope no fmic. i should have one soon tho. u dont NEED one for the regular programming but it helps. you do need one with the aggressive programming like j31 or pc-16 tho. and i went back to stock exhaust cause of some problems with a shop. part of their policy was they wouldn't refund any work if i had modified the car after so i had to take off my borla exhaust and test pipe when i took it back in since they screwed up when fixing the car. now i dont have the tools to put it back on so i gota wait till i go back home to put it back on

 

j31 is tuned to run at 28psi. most run at 24psi. make sure you have all supporting mods.

what size is the compressor wheel on the k04? and whats the trim?
