WRX run 15.2 stock. ive seen it time and time again. now i did see a stock srt-4 with just a short shifter pull consistant 13.9

 

i can't wait like 5 year down the road when those srt-4 are just **** just like the old DSM cars I willm have a good laugh this is forsure

 

Yeah, wrxs at the track only run high 14s low 15s. Ive seen srt4s run 11s. 235whp is hard out of a ko4. I made around 210whp with bad programing. I spent my cash on other ways to go faster, and paid off too. When pc16 is in that car its a whole dif beast.

 

Wrx's with shitty drivers run 15s, they are mid to low 14 sec cars, having 3 friends with wrxs and 2 sti friends. Sorry but a wrx with a utech & exhaust, will own any k04 a4. Friend has the turboxs utech 3" exhaust, runs 13.3s he has a race gas map but never ran it at the track with it yet.

 

Thanks for all the input. can you please tell me what a good K04 setup would be? i dont get paid a lot, so i dont want to spend too much money. i understand that CTSTURBO.COM has good deals on turbos, and giac would be able to provide the chip for the setup. What else do i need besides the exhaust system? and which would you recommend? Again, thanks for all your help.

Well if you do the regualr giac k04 programing you will need a k04, 5bar fpr, tuning, exhaust is reccomended. AWE sells a kit like ~1700 for all that you will need to install. If you wait untill christmas they normally have a sale on those kit and are alot cheaper, AB18 got his i think it was ~1400.

If you want the most out of your k04, p&p exhaust mani, testpipe, 310cc reptop bosch injectors, pc-16 software if you are n-dbw if your 00 j31file, adj. fpr, and a fmic will benefit if you run the bigger injector software. And by that time your clutch will be slipping so add one to the list.

Wait untill christmas and look for the AWE kit, and then get all the other stuff.

235whp on a k04 is far out of sight on a tight budget. The most i have seen was 210whp on the j31 file, mmart4565 or whoever had got that out of his k04, haven't really seen much higher dyno #'s.

 

I made 210whp on no pc-16/j31.Pm me if you want to know exactly what i did.




btw-mmart made 217whp on pump and 90plus heat,and 354ftpd

 

Not calling BS but id love to see a dyno chart for the 210whp. on his lower run he of 214hp he made the most tq which was 276.7ftpd
I can answer that, gut the damn car so all thats left is a drivers seat, stering wheel, and pedals Id love to do that to mine but i really dont feel like putting everything back on. If i goto the track i wanna remove the rear seat and passanger seat.

 

I never gutted mine to that point, my car has pretty much everything except from the 2front seats back.
