I'm sure we all appreciate that sound of the turbo spooling up......
and wouldn't it be nicer if it was just a little louder....
so are the K04's (awe to be specific) any louder?

yeah alot louder, you can hear them spool with a radio on at 5psi. If you have a highflow cat,downpipe, along with a p&p manifold, sounds sooooo sick.

Yea it was much louder than my current turbo is...then again I had a fmic with my k04 and that made it really loud. Awesome sound though

 

with my current setup it sounds like i made the fast and the furious sound effects...lol...i also have a ported manifold just not in my sig

Tom, was the ko4 alot louder then the 28r? i know with my ko4 and 22psi its exremely loud.

 

Passed emmision fine with my k04...im screwed now though. I think I'm gonna hafta find "a guy" to pass me.

Yes the k04 was much louder than the 28rs, then again I'm only running 15psi right now, and I had a fmic with my k04 and wont have my new intercooler until next week. I think it will be louder once that's in
