K04's are now on back order striaght from borg wagner I was just talking with the guys at AWE and they have not seen anything in months looks like people that are wanting to do a K04 upgrade right now are going to either have to find a used Turbo or got with a big turbo custom set up just wanted to post this for anyone that was planning on doing a upgrade any time soon

 

I had trouble finding one last fall when I did mine. They said the same thing to me then.

 

ECS Tuning just got a limited shipment in a day or so ago.

There are (2) on Ebay right now. But why do they cost so much...I can get a low mileage engine for $1500...why can't I upgrade my turbo for less than half of that?

 

suck it up man they are on B/O right now with this B/O in place I'm thinking of sellng my kit for more than I paid for it for sure and upgrading to a big turbo if I can get a buyer this is

 

Yeah, Im pretty sure when neil and i got ours awe was almost out.

 

Yea they were saying they were running low then and I'm sure AWE sold enough kits with that sale that they had going on over xmas
