finally got that damn thing removed!! (GTRS Turbo), More exciting is the fact that i did it all in a gravel driveway with a flashlight with minimal tools.

I dont see any damage to the fins on the compressor or the turbine.. Which means it almost has to be the bearings in the center cartridge that failed. Correct?



I will try and get some pictures up later for those that are interested

Yeah the bearing must have been starving for oil then, flush the lines out before putting on the new turbo.
Or your gonna be buying two turbos[:@]

Take off the lines, pour some seafoam down the lines then used a compressed air gun with a rubber tip and blow the **** out of it.

If you don't like that method change the turbo feed line altogether which is a major PITA!!!!!

get some new lines. steel braided lines will work best
