I was wondering if anyone has purchased aftermarket key/alarm fobs for A4 or other Audi (I need another one for my 2003 A4 Avant; car was purchased pre-owned and only one key available).

Are there legitimate aftermarket fobs on the market, and is it worth it to buy one and then have to go to dealer to get programmed and key cut (will I really save any money)? Any experiences, things I should look for? Thanks everyone!

 

You can pick up the fob online for alot cheaper than at the dealer but i think you will have to have the dealer program it cuz theres a chip in the keys I think
