Haha... someone just tried to convince me that if you hold the key up to your chin and press the button it works from farther away... haha.... good luck with this one. It's all i have.
i have heard this too, who started this rumor?
I know that this sounds funny but it really works. You should try it one day.
I you put your finger in a light socket, it increases the range by ten fold!
The picture has nothing to do w/ the thread, i just saw it and laughed.

yeah, ive been using the remote to chin thing since i bought this car, apparently its supposed to use your body as a magnet or something..kinda like if you have those old radios with those metal antenas and if you touch it you get better reception on the radio and it goes back to static when you let go..i think.

You cannot open the door till you reach the car so why do you need to unlock it from 2 miles away.

Yeah mine only works from about 5 ft away. Maybe if we hook up a CB radio antenna to our remotes that would be better? Then when your keys are in your pocket, people will always think that you are very pleased to make their aquaintence.

And sometimes you might need to use the alarm button, for scarrrry times in dark parking lots.

When you can't remember where you parked.
