Went to unlock my doors today and noticed the remote was not working. I figured it happen sooner or later, so i grabbed the other one i had hanging up. Same thing does absolutely nothing, no panic or lock/unlock. Is there something that is causing this? fuse? or soemthing? let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I assuming its not the battery in the remotes because i have two of them and what are the odds of both going bad at once. So im counting that out as of now. any other things it may be?

 

change the batteries in one key fob then go from there, both key fob batteries could be bad

 

And for grins, let us know what the outcome is too, even if it wasn't the batteries. We hate being left hanging----

 

tried some crazy process of programming the key etc somone told me on another forum, didnt work, im going out in a few to get the battery so ill let ya know whats up? do i have to reprogram the key oncei replace the battery.

 

ok got home from buying a new battery for the damn remote. Installed it all and properly, still does nothing. anyone have any other ideas?

 

go to the dealership?? lol

 

possibly central locking system pump.......

 

Did it just stop suddenly? You may need to reprogram the fobs. I think there's a write up in the diy section.
