In Londonderry NH. Anyone ever deal with these guys? I did i search and didn't find too much. I'm bringing my b5 to them for the APR chip and just wanted to get a third party opinion from somewone who has had work done by them. I've been there once already to check the place out and it seems ok, nothing sketchy, but looks can be deceiving. Anyway, any customer experiences would be nice. Thanks

Nope I have not, for my work I need I have been taking it to Shine Racing in Walpole MA. I highly recommend them, their work is great, their prices are reasonable and they are extremely nice and willing to talk. They are a GIAC shop though if you have your heart set on APR.

I'm not married to the idea of APR, although I understand they have a smoother powerband which is important to me, I just didn't know GIAC had a shop around here. I have the appointment tomorrow morning to get the chip done, so I was just making sure there were no horror stories before I went. In the future, it's good to know there's a good shop in the area. You don't have a link by any chance?

There is also KTR in Ayer MA also which is a GIAC shop too. I have not been to them but they have a great reputation and host gathering every once in a while.

Brought my 2003 A4 down to them last weekend for the Stage 1+, good guys and they know what they are doing. I ended up blowing a coilpack (they had one in stock) and another one before i got home (3 hour drive) so i ran on 3 cyl for a bit. after some research i found that the extra stress on the older coilpacks pushing thru older plugs with builtup reisitance can be an issue after upgrading the chip. I also found out that Audi is swapping out the coilpacks in the 01, 02 and some 03 A4s because they are known to fail, but after finding out it was goign to be a week before the parts would be in at the dealer and they could install them (cuz it was a recall they won't just give me the parts) so i just bought 5 new ones online ($149 shipped overnight) and new plugs and i've been beating the hell out of it the past 2 days without any problems. A warning that this could have been an issue would have been nice, but they may not have known so i can't really blame them. over all a good experince, i learned more about my car and i'm very happy with the proformance boost.
