Will a K&N Air filter increase my horsepower? I have a 02 A4 1.8 T Auto

Yes K&n will increase horsepower in any car usually 6 to 7 percent but if i was you id do intake if your planning on upgrading your filter and want an increase in horsepower.

it's turbo. Do not spend your money for cai. save it for a chip.

Haha do you seriouly think you can see noticeable gains with a k&N??? No do not get a K&N filter unless you want your maf to go out... but what he said^^^ try doing a search next time..

 

When I put my K&N in my manual, I noticed that 1st gear would keep the car moving forward without any feet on the pedals. When I had the stock filter in, I had to work the clutch a lot more. That's my favorite benefit. As far as hp goes, I am not that good where I can sense an extra 4+ hp...

 

this is what u need:
1. K&N Filter
2. K&N recharge kit
3.rubbing alcohol
4.Time to clean MAF every so often.
5. Enjoy!!!
