i have been getting alot of fumes im my car lately and think i need a new cat. after searching i found the labree motorsports cat for 260 has anyone used this. i also found the renkat from evo but it is 649, dont want to spend that much cause i will probget a catback at the same time

I would talk with them before u order it, i think that may be a cat that goes after the testpipe. Im not sure if that is a direct bolt up replacement or not.

 

A test pipe replaces the CAT. After the CAT it is the downpipe, or aka CAT BACK. I know labree makes a test pipe, I'm not sure they make a CAT though. Techtonics tuning makes a HFC, along with milltek. I have a labree testpipe and i highly reccomend it, or for that matter any testpipe. The downside is definate failed emissions, and most likely a CEL caused by DTC's being thrown.

random tech has a high flow cat that is a direct replacement also. plus theirs i believe wont cause you to go broke

 

i called random tech they want 370 for it

 

sounds good to me compared to 650 eh' or u can get the test pipe on ebay right now i just saw one under a 1.8t search. its got like 6 days left though. or i could sell you my stock one for 100 shipped bc i bought a random tech. it came from a 01
