Default Large vacuum hose under intake manifold?

I took my car to the dealership today to get it checked out because I'm feeling no boost. The guy takes it for a ride and says its running really rich, thats why I'm not feeling the boost. So he pops the hood and looks and a large vacuum line underneath the intake manifold and there is basically nothing left of it where it connects to some valve. Its hard to explain what it looks like, but i'll try to get a pic up soon. Anyone know which vacuum i'm talking about? Its really thick, and goes towards the rear of the car into some valve. Its not the crankcase ventilator I don't think (I need one of those too, the one coming off the back of the intake manifold going laterally to the left when looking from the front of the car.) I have a bunch of part numbers I'll post up in a second. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

The parts guy was struggling to find anything.. didn't seem like he had a clue what he was doing. I don't want them to do it, and I want to see if I can find the parts for less than the $140 he quoted for just vacuum hoses. I was just seeing if anyone has any experiece in this. Here's the list he gave me:
058 103 213
N 904 67301
06A 103 247
058 103 213C
058 103 221A
Looked up these on ECS, and only found a few.. and some that i did find didn't seem like they made sense. I'll post some pics trying to explain it better in a second.
Edit- '97 1.8TQM by the way.

I just had this replaced last week on my car. Paid a little over 300 and it was worth every penny. The car runs completely different and my gas mileage has improved. They fixed several vaccuum leaks. the tech said its a very common problem with audis before 03
