Nope. The ko4-15 is the same as a ko3 but with a 2mm increase in the turbine wheel. The ko3s got a larger inducer and turbo inlet along with a more efficient 8 blade compressor wheel (ko3 has 12 blades).

the k04-15 looks the same as the k03s. it uses the same 8 blade design, not the 12 blade design of the k03

 

the ko3s is a little better. But its pointless vs pointless.

People "upgrading" from a ko3s to ko4 should be punched in the face

 

Thats what everyone has on my TL forum,as becausethese types of bikesare more frequently moded and with diffrent lil nick nacks then cars and most other bikesthe F/S forum is poppin. Several members make everything from more comfy seats,gear indicators,throttle inserts,to fiberglass parts,to pressure plates and clutch covers. If u click their profile u can view their trader rating almost in an E-bay format. Very cool,and deffinitly keeps fraud down a lot. 99.9% of I've been ripped off threads are about major reailers/shops.Maybe we could do somethin like that on this site,especially since we have a recent inudation of 1 post sellers,might wake up the cheap stakes and make em pay more attention to whom they purchase from. Is it really a bargain if youbuy $900 lambo doors for $300 and never recieve them? Or,a turbo for half the price of a forum member and then it needs a complete rebuild?

 

Also it doesn't exactly help to know who ripped someone off,when they will never come back,make another profile and post 30 posts and rip someone else off. Case in point that stasis incident. Yeah, I might look into this for mine. When are the turbos usually replaced? I'm just under 100k. I know t the better you take care of it, the longer it would last, but you never know. I had been concidering the KO4 when mine went out, but this sounds like a good deal. Does anyone know average hp gains?
