im getting some led strips from www.superbrightleds.com so i figured i would also pick up a few extra bulbs as well.

i've been using the sylania guide and google to figure out the right bulbs to use. i want to replace my license plate lights and glove box light. both are listed on sylivania as a 6418. this is a 36mm festoon stlye bulb right? so the 3610-x4 LED Festoon bulb should work?

also i want to swap out the lights that come on under the dash when you open the door. sylvania says its a 2825 bulb, which is a T3 1/4 wedge bulb right? so the WLED-x LED wedge bulb should work?

i also want to replace the light in my vdo gauges. what type of bulb would i need? 42draftdesigns has a perfect match for it but its $15 for the bulb, $15 for a power regulator and then i would have to pay shipping, so i would like to go through superbrightleds.

and finally i want to swap the lights that are by the sunroof controls. is that the map light or the dome light?

thanx. whats the center dome light? the driver and passenger dome lights are the ones by the sunroof controls right? and does anyone know about the vdo gauge?

 

i went with 42dd for all of my interior led's and tag led's

i got 2 14.5v festoon style bulbs for the rear tag
2 regular festoon bulbs for the overhead courtesy lights in the fron
2 push and turn style bulbs for the map lights up ront
and 2 push and turn style bulbs for the rear courtesy lights
im not sure what the glove box is
but im pretty sure the footwell also has the festoon style bulbs

dont go with 42dd for the vdo bulbs though, it isnt the greatest, and the color seems to fade towards the bottom of my gauge, as does everyone elses with their perfect match kit
