Default LET THE PARTS ROLE IN!!!!

Ok, well I have decided to stick with my A4 for now. I didn't want to go and have to pay to have a new car shipped or anything. SO with that being said it is time to start modding!

I just got done ordering a bunch of parts for my car. I will have nice weekend project next weekend:
1. ECS Tuning Ultimate Plus Timing Belt kit
2. PureMS Snub mount
3. Valve Cover Gasket
4. FMIC! (still need to order/buy the piping for it.

I am going to be getting some other stuff later next week when I get paid.

I will post pictures up once I get the FMIC installed.

Well that ought to keep you busy for at least a weekend!

Did you find the write-upfor the t-belt?

Just take your time, dont rush it, and Im sure you'll do just fine on it.

Yeah I found a really good one on the AudiDIY.com site. And I know, I am not going to rush it. I have a friend in town who has a nice garage that I will take my car to and we can tear it all apart and keep it garaged all night if don't get it back together in time (which I don't think we will considering I will be installing an FMIC at the same time. LOL

Oh and I am thinking about chipping the car over the weekend as well since my car will be down anyways might as well go all the way right?

just and fiy...... your car will not perform alot better with the fmic..... and might start overheating durring the summer till you get some more power to it......... at least that is what i remeber, if i remeber correct, but someone with more knowledge could chime in on that

and congrats on the purchases...... ask onepoint8.... the tip is fun when you start putting down the power

What do you mean by it will start overheating? I mean I know what that means I am asking why though? Because it's blocking the radiator more? Oh and how would adding more power cause it to NOT overheat? Wouldn't it be the other way around? IDK and it doesn't get super hot here in the summers anyways, (I think we were over 100 maybe 2 times last year, mostly high 80's to mid to low 90's)

ummm yea your wrong, lol a fmic is in no way going to hurt the car or make it over heat, and it will give you performance gains, colder air means more horsepower.. and even though the k03 is small it is still big enough to push a fmic with minimal pressure drop, like less than .5psi across the core... I ran a BIG fmic on my car and the gains were very noticeable, it would pull harder and longer.. and never even tried to heat soak.
