Hello all,

Anyone know ifthe 2004 A4 license plate lights completely sealed or not? I ordered a pair of LED light bulbs (14.5V) for it. They are still in back order so I don't have a chance to install them. I just wanted to make sure the license light housing is not completely seal so the heat won't kill the bulbs.

they arent air, or water tight.. if thats what you are thinking of

led's dont get hot btw

 

Thanks Lazer Viking. It is good to know LEDs don't generate much heat. Even it does, bulbs won't kill by it since the light housing is not completely sealed. I think I am good to go.
