license plate lights no worky

I cleaned the the two curved steel strips that make the electical contact and the base wher they touch. What else could be the problem?

Yeah I thought the post didn't go through the first time, anyways I replaced the bulbs but didn't think there was a fuse for the rear license plate lights?Is it in the driver sidefuse box?Thanx mang
