lifter noise

yha im getting some valve/lifter noise.. am I screwed. Don't Audi have hydralic lifters. which means its time for a new head... or can I adjust them back to normal.

I'm not sure if it's quieter. I'll have to check and repost.

Try engine flush.That will get some on the carbon off the lifters and may free them up.

or just run some heavier oil that will shut those lil biatches up

but how do I repair the problem. I don't want to make it worse by just using a think a$$ oil. My question is can I adjust the lifters, would that be that best bet to fixing the problem.

there is no ajustment.flush engine.If it is still there replaced bad lifters.
