Will installing aftermarket HID headlight set of the Headlight warning sign on my 00' 2.8 b5?

 

It never set off a warning in my B5.

Hi, I just installed some Halo/Projector headlights in my '03 A4 3.0 yesterday. Everything seemed fine but this morningI did get the "Dynamic Headlight Leveling not functioning" warning light. The lights seemed to be functioning alright (and really looking really cool)butI'm looking into it.I'm wondering if the warning is becausethe lights I installed are not Xenon? They're some crappy Halogens (i learned after instalation). I also read somwhere that there's a mechanicalarm that moves the lights and that if that is possibly broken, then that could be the issue. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

yea its the auto-leveler. did you remove it to fit the HIDs? I don't know if it will work the same as with stock bulbs but i dunno i gots a b5.

 

yea, your shittay lights probably arent equipped for auto leveler cars

installing hids will have no effect on any low voltage light or what not
