It seems as though the problem which holds most people back may be which type of lip spoiler to buy rather than how to install it. There are a ton out there- some cheap ones have good reviews and some more expensive ones have poor reviews (and visa versa). Why don't you just buy one lip spoiler of each type and try them all? You could put one on top of another and after you could put a big "H" sticker on your back windshield right above the "type R" sticker (I'd do some photoshop work but I'm late for work). Ha, anyway post as much info as you'd like- you know we'll all read an appreciate it.

i bought an ebay spoiler...primed it, painted it....and found that 3m double sided tape (i bought tape as wide as the spoiler's bottom...didnt use the thing strip they provided) didnt stick to the spoiler. As i bent it on my trunk the tape would just peel off. The paint would also easily peel right off..primer and all.

the closest thing you'll find is a high gloss black for spray paint. you might want to look into having it done at a paint shop, it probably wouldn't be much.

yes i painted it myself using duplicolor paint...the spoiler has been thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol....hell gorilla glue stuck to it, but not as great as you'd think..

idk, the spoiler must have an oily substance in the rubber from the mold....im thinking about stripping all the paint off, bathing it in paint thinner...and trying all over again?

it might be a total waste though...i saw one on ebay for like $115 that was prebent and painted, i might go for that...at this point i just really want a lip spoiler and idk what to do.

a local shop even told me that the job would be too small for them and they are too busy to do it.
