Default Looking at 1996 A4 Quattro

Ok, so I am looking at an A4 2.8 Quattro right now. The guy is asking $6500 for it. It is a manual 5 sp, cloth interior, but does have power sunroof, and seems to run well. One thing about it though. It has a salvaged title. The guy says his wife scraped it into one of those concrete poles on the passenger side. He has it all fixed. At this time I do not know if there is any frame damage. I am probably going to have a mechanic look at it for damage. In running the car the only thing about it was when making a full on 360 degree turn there is some noise, like tire rubbing wheel well, on the passenger front (where the damage was) But that noise was not apparent on regular turns or 135 degree turns.

I was thinking of offering him $4000, if the frame checks out.

Oh yeah, the interior is immaculately clean, but the FM radio doesn't work. But who cares, I was going to replace it anyway.

So, what do you guys think?

Here are some pictures. Sorry they suck, but they were taken as it was getting dark.

^ Those are the only flaws in the paint that I could find. It is on the passenger rear quarterpanel.

hmm is that because your on a limited budget.. or just becase? because if you can spare the extra.. I would recommend holding out and getting a newer model.. 96 was the first year and its a 12v.. if you get a 98 its a 30v Here this might help you learn some things about the A4 and every other model of Audi..

If it checks out I think its a good deal for even $5000. Looks good on the outside for sure.

Salvage title has absolutely no resale. I'd offer $5000 at the absolute most and $4500 if you can get it for that. Other than that, looks pretty clean.

PIMP style=the suck.
I also have no intention to resell because I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. My max budget would be $10k, but I would rather spend $3k-$7k.
