hello everybody. i'm new to audi's and am planing to buy an a4 within the next few months. I currently own a 02 gti 1.8t will a bunch of bolton's. but when i sell that im gonna get an a4. i have been looking into the 2.8 and supercharging it(im looking for a little bit of reliability), but iwanted to compare how much faster it would be then my gti. Ihave the awp 1.8t with 2.5" turboback exhaust, TIP, forge DV, CAI, EIP ecu flash, spark plugs gapped at .28, and i think thats it. I wanted to see if there were any supercharged fellas in the Columbia Maryland area that wouldn't mind givin me a little test drive and some info. I know that i can get good numbers by getting the 1.8t and slappin a BT on it but im gonna save the BT for the mk2 gti vr project i'm gonna start in a year or so. anyone wanna help a brother out. u show me yours ill show u mine

 

Good luck finding a local SC'd 2.8 to check out, they are few and far between.

^^^^normally I'd agree with you but hes looking for reliability. Check out scaudi.com, its a forum dedicated to...well SCed 2.8s. You might even find someone in your area that might give you a ride.

find yourself a stock 2.8 and put in a pes s/c. a 2.8 will do you better than the Gti ever did.

 

Thats what im hoping. yeah im waiting for the administrator to accept my registration 4 scaudi.com. i figured i'd post here while i wait.
