There are differences, on the 96 to early 99's the window washers are on the top of the hood and there are holes there for them, from 99.5 to 01 the washers are mounted under the lip of the hood and shoot up to the window, so yes there is a difference

 

so they are different hoods in that aspect but technically they both fit the hinges and stuff the same? that is good to know tho i'm just trying to know all my options.

 

Yea hinge wise there the same but asteticaly there different, I think the 99.5+ looks cleaner with out the little washer things just chillin on the hood
