...and new to audiland, so i'm looking for a few pointers.

the car in question is in good-to-excellent condition, but it has, well, a lot of miles on it - 177K. which is probably why it's stickered at five grand. anyways, having had a previous love of similar flavor - a bmw 535 that was 15 years old and 150K miles when it was sadly totaled - i know a bit of what i'm in for if something goes haywire and i have to, you know, drop $1500 on a new exhaust.

i guess my main questions are: in a car with that many miles from that year, is there anything in particular that i should definitely look into? (other than the omnipresent timing belt...) are there any issues that model had straight out of the factory? and, most importantly, is that lowish price sound accurate considering the miles, or is he trying to hide something?
