There is no difference in B6 Ultrasport suspension and regular sport suspension. They are identical in every way. Only difference between B6 USP and Sport models is the body (front/rear and door blades) and some interior asthetic stuff. Mechanicaly, they are exactly the same as each other.
Then, going one step further, the 2002 Sport model actually sits a little lower than any other year.
But in any case, if you buy a USP (Ultrasport) in the B6 chassis (2002-2005) it is a sport model with asthetic enhancements only.
Lower body panels started coming painted from the factory in 2004.5 model. The panels are the same plastic; just painted.
Doh, EDIT: Wheels.... forgot wheels. But in any case, Ultrasport is a sport in every mechanical way.

There are people running up to ET32 on 9.5" wheels and 255 tires in the back without much trouble.
Again, though, you can't be certain without knowing a few variables:
[ul][*]Offset[*]Rim width[*]Rim brand[*]Tire size[*]Tire brand[/ul]
Some tire brand's 245 will seemingly stick out more than others, dependent on how they make their sidewall. Some taper, while others are more straight.
cool..right now i have the stock sport wheels wtih a 245/40 on them and it seems like i can go wider tire..but its also a 17" rim...not sure what the stock offset is though..
Stock is a whopping ET45. Very thin stance. Although stock RS4 is ET28. Very wide. But we're talking millimeters here..... difference between the two isn't as much as you'd think. Enough to rub, sure, but there is much more to it than offset. You also have to remember that a 245/35/19 is really no bigger than a 245/40/17. My diameter/cirrcumference didn't change much when I went from stock sport wheel to 19's, because my tire is much lower profile.
so if i wanted to get these:

what do u recommend?

No friggen idea.... I know the theory behind it all, but couldn't tell you about aftermarket wheelsother than OEM or replica wheels from the major RS4 replica makers (Hartman, Strat, VMR)what to do.

Ultrasport suspension is the same as the s4 setup. At leat thats what I thought. Anyway there much hotter than other a4s. Just wait and keepsearching. They are somewhat rare but theres always new ones comin up for sale on autotrader or local newspapers.
