I am looking to buy a Used A4 prefereably 2000 and up models. Couple of questions</P>


1. what would be better between 1.8T vs 2.8?</P>


2. Should I get quattro?</P>


3. How much can I expect to pay for 20k-30k miles audi a4 with automatic?</P>

Well depends what you are looking for.</P>


1. 2.8 has more power out of the box but there is not that many mods for that engine. 1.8T has less power but there is ALOT of mods for it out there.</P>


2. Quattro ones are slower then FWD (by about a second on 1/4) but quattro is much better for snow, rain and stuff like that.</P>


3. Cant really say, prices vary greatly with diff packages.</P>

That way you have the smoothness of a v6 and the Perfect grip off a quattro ( wich makes it the best allrounder). </P>


oh and for the automatic ; We know someone with an A6 2.8 Tiptronic and he sais that the gearbox suits the engine just perfect. </P>

For comfort, 2.8..... for handeling ...Quattro. U must drive to feel the difference.</P>

If I were to buy an a4 99-01 it would be 2.8 with Q.</P>
