Hey tom, you run 18x9's right? I checked out RS wheels, and like the ZW1... pretty much your wheels, but 2 pc, and available in 17"... I'd like to go 17x8.5, you think I'd have rubbing issues, or will the half inch save me? Also, what size of tire do you need for an 8.5" wheel?

headshok, you shouldn't get rubbing with 17x8.5....maybe when your wheels are fully turned and you hit a bump, that's about it...

Yup mine are 3 piece, and if you noticed they only made 3 pieces in the p-3.6's which are only in porsche lug pattern, and mine are also 18's so the previous owner must have had them redrilled..I was pretty happy when I found that out. Probably the only 18" p3.6's on an audi in the country Anyways enough bragging. Yea those wheels 17x8.5 shouldn't have a problem. I would throw 235's on which is about the widest tire you can fit under the front fenders. You might have to roll your fenders if you really lower the car, but thats not really that big a deal. So you I'd go with 17x8.5 with a 235/40/17 tires and you should be fine.
