Well due to all the negative feedback I decided to give in and lose the eyelids. You guys were right why add some cheap s**t to your classy Audi. Oh yeah and if any of you guys want a cheap solutions to getting rid of those amber bulbs just buy some high temp. spray paint, I used silver. Take a look.

Now all you have to do is get lowers painted and drop that 4x4!

NICE! i was hoping you'd drop those bad boys. that looks way better now...i'm a little confused on how you did the amber inserts....did you just paint the outside of the headlight?

Was it hard to remove the insert once you got the tabs off. I got scared when tutorials for it say to like vacuum out the headlamp assembly. Did you run into any major problems? I really wanna do this, but am an idiot, so any advice would be great.

 

oooh, you're saying you painted the bulbs, after you removed the amber inserts....i gotcha....

 

Yeah I know I gotta lower this thing, I'm savin right now, hopefully in a few weeks. Fieldy, just make sure you have the right tools when you do it. Right size drill bit is key. The insert shouldn't be to hard to break loose. Great mod, well worth it, much better than spendin a fortune on new headlights.
