My main issue is shortly after shifting into first and second gear I get a harsh grinding noise from directly in front of me. It can also be described as a scraping noise. The noise does not happen at sustained speeds and no other gears. A minimal amount of smoke comes out from under the engine cover on the right side of the engine towards the back. Also when the car is first started it idles at 1100 rpms for about 2 min before lowering. Overall this does not affest performance at all but it is a terrible noise. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
