Lowering my Carr B6 A4? I have a couple ?'s for you guys.
Hey guys. I want to lower my car about 2 or so inches. I do not have sport suspension and i would like to install aftermarket wheels in the near future. I believe that i would need a combination of shocks and springs or am i wrong? I dont really want to spend more then 300 - 400 on lowering my car so therefore ive searched and come up with these springs.. https://www.audiforums.com/m_114762/tm.htm ..In the audi classifieds section in these forums. Are these springs the right and best springs i could buy to lower my car the 2 or so inches?
A while back i searched multiple posts and i came up with the solution of springs and shocks. Do i really need shocks or am i missing somthing here? If i really need shocks or if my stock shocks will blow out from the difference in hight of the springs what aftermarket shocks will give me great reliability and a soft ride?
Where could i buy shocks at? and roughly how much do you guys spend on shocks for your lowered Audi's.
Thanks a lot in advance!

hey slowwagon.. I just (like two weeks ago) put eibach pro srpings on my B6 and it droped it to like the sport suspension height...if I put adjustable koni shocks on, would my car lower further?
it's possible but might not be too noticeable. if you do that then your warranty for your suspension would be voided for sure.
You'll definitely want to change out your shocks eventually though since you're on non-sport shocks. I hear that koni with eibach is a good combination though.
