Default Hello guys, new A7 Owner here - couple of questions

So I did it.

I'm now the pretty happy owner of an A7 3.0 245 bhp, quattro in Daytona grey with the tech pack.

Unfortunately so busy with work, I've barely had a chance to do anything but drive it to the garage in the last two days since it was delivered.

One thing that is driving me mad is the darn beeping it does if you leave the driver door open - can this be turned off?

Also I know I read somewhere it can have internet in the car, is there a for dummmies guide on how to set this up?

Thanks

Dex

Dextur,

I'm sure there's a Vag Com that will permanently silence the door chime but until you can get that done, all you have to do is press one of the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel above the scroll wheel. It's a one-time only function meaning if you close the door and then open it again, you'll have to push the arrow again to silence it.

Can't help you on the MMI since I'm in Europe with a US spec Audi and mine doesn't work right now either. Yours is an easier fix since you just need to spend the time researching or find the right person to help walk you thru the set up. I've read in different forums that the provider is the big issue now.

Enjoy the Audi and get used to the stares of envy.
