Default lowering springs

well im trying to buy some lowering springs for my car. i have a 1998 2.8 30v quattro. some sites say all 1996-2001 springs are the same, 1.8t or 2.8, 2wd or quattro doesnt matter. some sites say 1.8t has diffrent springs than the 2.8's and some sites say the a4 quattro's have diffrent springs then the 2wd. im confused and dont know what to get!! anyone have experience here?? also i think im gunna go with Tien, any other suggestions?

2wd springs are different then awd. you will want to buy shocks too. 1.8 springs will have a diff spring rate because its lighter.

i think only coilover can work in both cars. the issue with the engine size can be adjusted by using the adjustable tension that coilover has. i am not sure if the 2wd and the awd has the same frame so i cant be 100% correct.

Quattro and 2wd definitely use different springs, and so do the 1.8's and 2.8's.
I am selling a set of eibach springs for a 1.8TQ and a set of H&R springs for a 2.8Q.
The H&R's are the 'sport' model.
The Eibachs are... whichever whens aren't super low. Pro or Sport I have no idea.

Well what are your plans for the car? Do you want to maintain comfort or do you want to slam it on 19's?
Do you want it to handle better, or are you after aesthetic benefits?
