if you just want the look and would like to keep as smooth a ride as possible, i've heard that neuspeed is one of the better, softer springs...if you want a stiffer ride for better performance, you can go with h&r, or koni..............shocks don't vary as much as the springs...i would go with bilstein or koni...

a good spring compressor is a must, if you have general mechanical skills you can do it yourself
i will recommend H&R springs and Bilstein grooved shocks. it took me 3 hours to install the first time. after driving around a few days
i decided i wanted to go lower and dop the spring perch on the shocks and took about 25 min. per corner to remove and adjust. but that was done in a shop with lift and wall mount spring compressor
