ok gotcha, i think i might buy these eibach springs, get money at christmas and buy me some new shocks to lower my baby. so shocks will be at about 500, i think i can pull it off, yet i still have to buy x-mas presents for the fam, which will cost a penny or two.[sm=smiley7.gif]
you can get shocks for alot less on ebay...
i got my bilstein for about $280 shipped on ebay and its great.
for $500 save a little more and get coilovers...

Ya I could get coilovers, but i'm not willing to spend that much. Is a 2 inch drop on my car going to be too much, considering i'm planning on running 18's on it too??

ok rafa, can you by chance give me the name of the seller that you bought your shocks from? I really like the sound of some bilsteins for 280 shipped. Thanks

Mike

Ok thanks, would you say it would be a really rough ride or just a little worse than it is now?
I have Eibach pro springs and I didnt change my shocks b/c at the time the car was new... now the ride is a little bouncy and I notice squeak when my suspension travels... IMO: I need new shocks [:@]

Audi05 was the ride rediculously bouncy or jsut a little? Would it be ok if i ran the springs for a month without the new shocks, because i need to save a little money right now.

you could... Now I said you could <--so I don't get flamed...

I would only do that if your installing them yourself. Because obviously if your paying someone to put your springs in because you can't wait, and then a month later you pay someone again to put your new shock in.... well your paying double labor.

So either
1. Put the springs on yourself now, and then put the shocks on yourself
2. Wait to get the shocks, hence wait to put the new springs on until you get new shocks... so buy the springs now and wait
3. Sack up and buy springs and shocks have then installed, and somehow buy christmas presents

Like I said I rode stock shocks for two years and some.... still am, but am going to replace them asap
