Lowers?
I know this is a common question, but I need some advice. My car was put in the shop for a new paintjob and I wanted my lowers painted, the guy at the shop told me it could be done however he wouldn't guarantee the work for the lowers, now I live in New England where it snows and stuff and I just don't know what to do. I like how they look painted only thing I don't want to be throwing the car in there every 6 months to redo the lowers... any insight on these? A part of me says the hell with it just go for it, another part of me says to hold off, What should I do? How long to these normally hold up, or at least with the New England weather... THANKS!
go for it! a lot of ppl DIY. like me... haha not perfect but they're holding up. mine cost $50 for paint and three hours. how much does he want? If you get them just keep a nice coat of wax on them and you should be good.
i had mine done at a body shop...i wish i would of just got s4 or rieger sides more...keep in mind you are painting rubber if you touch the lowers the wrong way or too hard you'll crack the clear coat of paint going on.
