just put on my new lip spoiler and grill...i had the paint shop at my work do both of them in brilliant black...opinions?

god i have my spoiler in my basement...it's unpainted right now.

if i put on adhesion promoter, then primer, then paint...or follow whatever sandman did in his DIY....will the tape stick to the spoiler if i paint the bottom of the spoiler where the tape goes too?

my problem originally was that the tape was ripping the paint and primer right off the spoiler and getting loose...i hope the adhesion promoter will really bond the paint/primer on to the ABS plastic.

 

that's not what you want to do, silver. you want to strip the spoiler of any paint, primer, etc...clean it with some rubbing alcohol, and apply the tape BEFORE you do any painting.
