Most add on turbo kits, for a NA car will be that way. Yes, you can run a BOV then.

Really, air in, is air in, it should be the same any place in the system. How can you have more air before the IC, then @ the throttle body?

My guess, your going to have temp problems, with the MAF on the charge side. The MAF might also not like the compressed charge. So, you would still need to tune the car for it, & the MAF might not last long. But it should work. If you can relocate the MAF temp signal to the normal MAF location, then it should almost be plug & play.

there is still no point in trying it with a 1.8t, you want a bov, get the right ones. It is just to much risk with a vw/audi maf which cost way to much to replace after it fails.

I also testing some stuff, then it will be in here with all the data and stuff fyi such as Logs with DV, logs with BOV, logs with BOV with relocated MAF and such. I'm working on it guys. I am just trying to make rightpiping just right before the throttle because I have 3" maf housing.

It should be alright i think, at least stop backfiring with bov.

If the maf reads air before it enters the intake pipe then how can it account for the air being vented into the intake pipeby a DV?? The only way i can think that is possible is if our ECU was already tuned from the factoryto add a bit more air then what the maf reads in order for it to accoun for the vented air into the intake pipe.
