Default magnaflow price

I was at school today, sitting in my car and some dude came up to me and was telling me about how he got into an accident with his audi and wanted to sell me his magnaflow exhaust. He told me $200 from the engine back with 3 inch pipe. This seems really cheap to me, is it? and if I decide to go look at it is there anything I should look out for? rust? cracks? Thanks

Ooriginal price for that must be at least $800, but yeah look for rust and cracks (some could be fixed).

Iis it from FWD and AWD, then what year... make sure it will fit you.

that is prettty cheap

3" is a little big though,
but you could always buy it, and turn it around for a few hundred more

cause 3 inches is too big for the k03, if you were big turbo it would be great...... like he said buy and sell it, or buy it and save it till you go bt

someone that went bt might be willing to trade with you

biggest you really want on a stock turbo is 2.5

3" means you need a bigger turbo It's a bit much for a lightly moded 1.8 but at $200 you can't go wrong.

Another question, does it matter if it's from a awd or fwd?
I have a 1.8t and only planned on chipping it and a K&N filter, but hey $200 for an exhaust. Hopefully its in good shape.

Thanks for all your help in advance

thanks Andyrew. Is there anything else I should now, besides year it came from?, From AWD? rust? cracks?

I have a 2001, I assume a 1999-2001 exhaust will fit? True?
