Got a dealer maint question. My 1.8 B6 is yelling at me, "600 miles until my next service is due" (currently 42,900 mi). I have a CPO that came with a maint package, so I call the dlr to see when to come in, the dlr advised me to wait until 45k to bring it in. I asked if exceeding the mileage interval will void the warranty or maint contract, he tells me "no you can drive it another 2k, it will be fine". I'm not worried about if the car will break down, but worried about the car saying it needs the service in less than 600 miles, but the dlr says to keep driving. Any help?

 

don't wry it's fine. u can even reset the thing too.

 

hold the wrench button down, turn the ignition on (but dont start) while holding the wrench down, hold the zero button as well.. then it will stop annoying u...
