quick fix get some belt dressing and spray it on the serp belt if the sound goes away you know it is the belt and will need to be replaced soon

I was just kidding (jokingly saying I want them). It sounds like a belt like the others suggested. Try some stick or spray on belt dressing and see what happens

 

Is a a real sharp noise coming the engine or more under your car where the suspension is?

 

Sounds like the fan belt.When the belt starts slipping it squeals. Should be able to tighten it up
or get a replacement.

Almost sounds like it's coming from the passenger-rear area...

 

If it's coming from the rear passenger side it could be the fuel pump. I've replaced 2 on my '03 A4 w/ 115,000 miles. It's a low squeal or almost buzzing sound. If the "belt" thing doesn't work out, try this. A dealer should be able to identify it.

 

if it's coming from the rear it's most likely a wheel bearing
