How much does the high flow cat help? Maybe I'll put one on when I upgrade my exhaust. I'll be running the stock K03 with GIAC software when I do my exhaust.

HFC's in my opinion aren't worth the money, get a test pipe which eliminates the cat and it cost's half the price. I got my 2.5" one from eurocode for $180 on a GB. Although if you want to pass emissions a test pipe will not. If you have to get emissions done just put your old CAT back on and get it tested and then put the test pipe back on. You will see boost alot earlier and hold it a little longer. I see full boost at 2300 rpms.

my audi isn't my project...not the 2.8 anyway. After I trade it in for a 1.8t it can be an ongoing project.

what you said makes sense...technically the same thing as I said. But I didn't even think about the ECU. My project cars were tuned for their setups so it didn't make a difference with mine.

It's a bit different over here (in Australia), we have the laws against not having a cat but we dont really get inspections as such, I have always hollowed mine out and kept it there so unless the take the cover plate off it is undetectable. In my experience not having a cat is much better than any hi flow cat. That being said, I dont know what sort of checks you guys go through.

Yea the 1.8T deffinately has more potential.

Yeah we got laws against it to but, thats why we have laws so they can be broken. I live in FL and we don't have emissions down here. Alot of states do though.

Use spellchecker, and stop capitalizing things which need not be capitalized. And DoNT tYpE liKE THis. Also don't play in traffic, or take candy from stangers, and don't play with fire.

I would get the intake manifold as well. But on the other side, it does have 160,000 miles, so maybe you should think about getting a new car at the same point in time...this car would definitely turn into a moneypit if you blow the engine after dumping money into a better turbo and manifold. But I think the manifold is worth it.

On second thought to my warnings, maybe you should stand in traffic and throw flaming candy at strangers.
I know eh!?!?! LOLZ !!!!!!1!!!!!!111one
