from what i heard i would not install a manual boost controller on any audi. if you want more boost buy a chip. they do a lot more than just boost up your power and prob the best mod you can get.

here are a few chip names

apr
giac
neuspeed
mtm

Yeah the boost controller isn't a good idea, you can cause serios damage with a shortage of fuel with the higher boost, the chip however takes care of all this at the same time for you.

Manual boost controllers will not increase fuel, it merely increases boost. So you will run lean.
An aftermarket chip replaces the software, and will add fuel to the mix, giving the correct air:fuel
ratio the car needs to burn correctly. Audi's are not like Japanese cars - our boost and fuel control
is maintained by the ECU.

Yeah, a manual boost control is not what you want on an Audi. As stated earlier the manual boost control only does half the job. You need the fuel misture adjustment too. You already have control over both with the ecu, just get it chipped and you can increase both boost and fuel.

yeah the 1-bar p-chip is ok. Its the cheapest, but not the most aggressive.
Other options are GIAC, APR, Wetteraurer, MTM (***** to the wall with this one)...

oh geez you people. OK, i dont care what they say. the hose you tie into is the hose coming of of the wastegate actuator. (its the gold bulb looking thing) Before you install it please have a boost gauge and use common sense; dont crank the boost all the way up, you will have a fuel shortage. Be carefull. one more thing if you do go the chip route you wont have controll over your car, the computer will. Sounds like a government plot to control the way we drive. Trust no one!!!!!
