Guys, I have a 2000 1.8T and its Tiptronic FWD, can I take a 2000 5spd chipped ecu and use it? I know things can be switched with Vag-com is this possible?

yes it can be used - it will require a recode via the VAG though

Are you positive, because I'm basing a $600 purchase on this... lol. I sent an email to GIAC, lets see if they'll respond.

Well, answered my own question... I emailed GIAC and everything is fine, I will just need to have the ecu reflashed
